Projectmanager R&D Agri Ghent/ Ador

Christeyns is an international company with a broad portfolio of chemical products and solutions. Our AGRI division is growing rapidly, developing innovative hygiene solutions for farming, animal health and the agricultural food chain.

To support this growth, we are looking for a motivated Project Manager R&D AGRI with a strong interest in chemistry and agriculture. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise and grow with our business.

Your role:

• Develop and optimise detergent formulations for agricultural applications, and carry out laboratory tests to evaluate product quality and performance.
• Support product trials at customer sites and in the field, analyse the results and translate your findings into new research projects and product improvements.
• Help develop go-to-market strategies for biocidal products, taking customer needs and practical applications into account.
• Work closely with Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and assess product efficacy and risk assessments from a practical perspective.
• Train and support local sales teams, sharing your technical knowledge of biocidal products and their practical applications.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and participate in meetings with external partners, industry associations and public authorities.
• Join the Christeyns R&D team in Ador/Ghent, starting mainly with laboratory work and gradually expanding into field testing and customer support.

Your profile:

• You hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• You have 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the food or agricultural industry, with a focus on production, hygiene or quality.
• You have a solid knowledge of chemistry and an interest in biocidal products.
• You have a genuine interest in agriculture and farming.
• You combine analytical thinking with a hands-on approach and a willingness to learn and grow.
• You have an excellent command of English and Spanish and/or Dutch, both written and spoken.
