Corporate Director Key Accounts Food Hygiene

The Food Hygiene Department is playing an important role in the growth of our company.  A double digit growth in the last 20 years and an impressive portfolio of chemicals and systems lead to a prominent position on the market. Christeyns is dealing with key players in food production and food processing.

To manage our key accounts on corporate level, Christeyns is looking for a Corporate Director Key Accounts Food Hygiene.

Your role: 

  • You oversee our global food hygiene business on Key Account level in the different Christeyns countries.  You define the sales strategy for the business, define the direction, choose the main targets in regions and in segmentation.  Your development plan is aligned with the BU’s strategy, and closely linked to the overall business strategy within the group.
  • You manage a team of Key Account Managers in the countries, in terms of coaching, hiring, evaluation, internal mobility…. You set personal objectives for them and support them on the field if necessary on decisive moments within their commercial activities.
  • You guarantee profitability of your unit in terms of turnover, margins, revenue, cost – to – serve… You build the budget and track the performance on a weekly basis, you intervene or validate major commercial deals with strategic customers.
  • You are in touch with our strategic customers, and develop a second line approach in order to guarantee a continuous cooperation with the group.
  • You work closely together with our application specialists, R&D, regulatory affairs and our local commercial managers and teams.
  • You are reporting to the Managing Director of the Food Hygiene Division.

Your profile: 

  • You have at least 10 years’ experience in a commercial role with international accounts in a similar business (B2B, chemicals and service oriented).
  • You have managed a commercial team for more than five years.
  • You have experience with high level customers on an international scale.
  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages (Spanish, Italian, French or Dutch) is an asset.
