Objective

This training aims to give participants a more profound insight in the causes and possible treatment of the most common stains, which can remain after washing. Participants will have to identify unknown stains during a workshop and establish appropriate rewash processes.

  • Stained versus damaged
  • Stain audit: preliminary identification of unknown stains
  • Stains: description and treatment
    • General: yellow stains, floor dirt, dye transfer
    • Hospitality: cosmetic, mildew, kitchen/restaurant
    • Healthcare: disinfection, surgery textile
