Phago’rub receives quality mark for hand sanitiser

UNITED KINGDOM – Our hand sanitisers Phago’rub Gel SPS and Phago’rub Solution SPS recently became the first of their kind to receive the BSI Hygiene Kitemark, a globally recognised quality mark from the British Standards Institution. The products contain more than 70% alcohol and kill up to 99.99% of the germs present on hands. Phago’rub Gel SPS and Phago’rub Solution SPS also dry quickly and are non-sticky, making them pleasant to use. What’s more, both products have a hypoallergenic character: they are free of dyes, fragrances and , do not irritate the skin and are easily tolerated, including by people with allergies. Their applications are therefore countless, from supermarkets to schools, hospitals and the food industry.

“Although we have built a solid reputation for innovation and quality over the past thirty years, we are of course especially proud that Christeyns’ hand sanitiser products are the first to receive this BSI accreditation,” says Peter Littleton, technical director of Christeyns Food Hygiene in Warrington, located in North West England. “The BSI quality mark gives businesses and consumers confidence in the quality and safety of a product, not only in the United Kingdom but across the world. Hand hygiene will continue to be important to protect against infection with corona and other viruses. Alcohol-based hand sanitiser plays an important role here, not least because you can use it quickly and easily wherever people come together, such as shops, public transport and the workplace.”
