Christeyns secures EU approval for PAA dossier

After more than a decade of dedicated work, Christeyns has reached an important milestone: the approval of its Peracetic Acid (PAA) Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) dossier.

The approval, published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 25 September 2026, marks a significant achievement for both Christeyns and its customers across Europe.

Peracetic acid plays a key role in a wide range of hygiene and disinfection applications. Obtaining BPR approval demonstrates that the products and applications covered by the dossier have undergone extensive scientific evaluation and meet the stringent requirements of the European Biocidal Products Regulation.
