GOVI makes a high-tech start in Turkey

GOVI, manufacturer of top-quality engineered chemicals and subsidiary of international group Christeyns, proudly announces the start-up of its activities in Turkey.

GOVI has built up a solid reputation in the international (oleo)chemicals industry, offering specialized process chemicals to various industries worldwide. The company has now taken a majority participation in GOVI KIMIA, a chemical company newly created with a local partner, and has invested in a new, state-of-the-art factory in Izmir, operational as of January 1st, 2016.

GOVI will bring its extensive experience in production technology, formulations, development, and quality control to the Turkish market. With GOVI KIMIA, the focus will be in first instance on the fast growing, high potential markets of wax emulsions for wood panels and oil dispersions for the insulation industry. For the Sales, Govi has assigned an account manager entirely dedicated to the Turkish market and based in Turkey. Technical service to customers will be supported by the Belgian-based global team of specialist in these industries.

Global approach, local operations tailored to the needs of the market: that’s the strength of GOVI.
