Christeyns Ghent Awarded EcoVadis Silver Medal for 2025
We are proud to announce that the Christeyns production site in Ghent has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal for 2025. This recognition places us among the top 15% of companies assessed by EcoVadis over the last 12 months, highlighting our continued commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices.
Continued Commitment to Sustainable Practices
EcoVadis is an evidence-based platform that evaluates the sustainability performance of companies. To earn this medal, companies must complete a comprehensive assessment and demonstrate a solid management system that addresses sustainability criteria defined by EcoVadis. The evaluation covers four key areas:
- Environment: Evaluation of environmental practices, resource management, and emissions reduction. Christeyns has a score of 84/100.
- Labour and human rights: Ensuring fair labour practices, diversity, and respect for human rights. Christeyns has a score of 78/100.
- Ethics: Assessment of ethical business conduct, transparency, and anti-corruption measures. Christeyns has a score of 60/100.
- Sustainable procurement: Focus on responsible sourcing and supplier engagement. Christeyns has a score of 54/100.
Enhanced Score
Not only did we successfully renewed our Silver EcoVadis Medal from last year, we also made significant progress in our overall score, increasing from 70% to 76%.
