Together for Pink October – Standing Strong against Breast Cancer
Every October, the world turns a shade of pink – a symbol of solidarity with women affected by breast cancer and with their families. At Christeyns, this initiative echoes values we deeply believe in.
Through the Christeyns Foundation, we support our colleague Hilde Dosogne in her new sporting challenge. For Pink October, she is taking part in the Spartathlon in Greece and the “24h World Championship” in Albi, France. This time, she is raising funds for Optima-Young, a new international clinical study led by BIG, focusing on young women with breast cancer.
Hilde is no stranger to remarkable athletic achievements for a good cause. In 2024, she completed the extraordinary feat of running 366 consecutive marathons for charity – an effort that not only inspired many, but also earned her a place in the Guinness World Records..
Although an injury prevented Hilde from finishing the Spartathlon, her Pink October initiative continues. Contributions to support this important cause are still very welcome.
