On Sunday 30th April, the Super Soapbox Challenge was held in Bradford, with brave soapbox racers going against the clock at this family, community event. Participating for the second year, the Christeyns’ Mad Scientists team took to the ramp with their cart fashioned from an IBC, effectively the “soapbox” for industrial laundry, joining a total of 26 teams on the 350m downhill course. 

Christeyns UK has extended its sponsorship deal with rugby league club Bradford Bulls, helping the club save thousands of pounds in laundry supplies.

Christeyns’ engineers have been working hard to develop more efficient systems to re-use waste heat. One such system is Heat-X Energo. Heat-X Energo is a shell-and-tube water heat exchanger, which has been carefully developed to meet the specific requirements of the laundry industry.
