Christeyns UK confirms commitment to Armed Forces

Christeyns UK recently reaffirmed their commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant in a joint signing ceremony at the Armed Forces Expo held at Bradford Bulls Odsal Stadium.

Justin Kerslake, operations director signed on behalf of Christeyns UK and Air Commodore Adam Samson, Air Officer North of England, for the Ministry of Defence, in the presence of Ben Davies, one of the Christeyns field team and a Royal Navy Veteran.

Kerslake commented: “We employ a number of veterans in our business who make a valuable contribution to our operations team, from stores to engineering and field service.

We find our veteran cohort to be reliable, self-sufficient, problem solvers who go the extra mile – so a great fit with our culture. We’re grateful for the service they have given in their military careers and are delighted to have them on our team.”

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation to those who serve or who have served, and their families, which says we will do all we can to ensure they are treated fairly and not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives. The Armed Forces Covenant relies on the people, communities, and businesses of the UK to actively support it in order to make a difference.
