The First Steps to Successful Leadership programme is a suite of 6 bite-sized modules.  It has been designed to support our customers in developing their staff to progress throughout the business and to equip them with the necessary skills to successfully lead and manage their teams.

Delivering all the skills required to be a successful leader

The student can opt for individual stand-alone modules, pick and mix selected modules or take the whole programme. Each module awards its own completion certificate, however, on completion of the whole programme, an additional certificate is issued to evidence that the student has completed the First Steps to Successful Leadership programme. The whole programme delivers all the skills required to be a successful leader.

These modules are suitable for individuals who have management, supervisory or team leading responsibilities with no formal training and/or, individuals who are new to the role.

Authored and delivered by an ILM Accredited Tutor

The training has been designed specifically with manufacturing personnel in mind and the training content reflects the challenges faced by those working in a manufacturing environment. They are not specific to Food and Beverage manufacturing but can be used across the whole sector.

The courses will be delivered by our training partner, Tina Brown who has authored the courses specifically for Christeyns Food Hygiene. Tina is an ILM accredited tutor, authoring, assessing, and delivering Leadership training up to master’s degree level 7.

Flexible options to suit your business

There are numerous ways the modules can be delivered, and businesses can choose what best suits them.

1. The modules can be scheduled to be delivered throughout the year as open courses – allowing students from a range of businesses to learn together in a virtual classroom environment. Learning this way allows students to discuss their own situations, challenges and gives them the opportunity to share best practices whilst learning from each other.

2. Our customers can schedule delivery of the training to suit them and arrange it just for their teams (as opposed to an open course). One or two modules could be delivered on the same day and our tutor will even deliver the training on an evening to capture those who work a late shift. E.g. 6-9 pm.

3. A customer-specific bespoke version of the training can be created following a scoping session, for example, if a customer would like the modules to incorporate their own processes or practices. Additionally, the whole programme can be adopted as a company’s own Leadership Programme and certificates can include your company’s logo and branding. Additional fees may be applied.

4. The training can also serve as refresher training for those who may have covered Leadership and Management training in the past, and who may just like to brush up or update on certain elements.
