World Mental Health Day 2021

Sunday 10th October marked World Mental Health Day 2021.

The official theme for this year’s event is ‘Mental Health in an Unequal World’, as set by the World Federation for Mental Health.

During the day, there was focus by many charities and organisations across the globe, on the inequalities people severely affected by mental illness face

Mental health is a vital national issue at the best of times, but the need for meaningful support in the community has become even more relevant as we’ve navigated the challenges of the pandemic.

Christeyns UK acknowledged this day by composing a document that was issued to all employees, with tips and tricks on how to help your mental health, along with useful resources and additional support.

At Christeyns, we have 12 trained Mental Health First Aiders, to help support our colleagues and beat the stigma surrounding mental health.
