Trainee/Apprentice of the Year Award Win

Christeyns UK’s Chemical Engineering Apprentice, Harry Coop, was awarded with the Trainee/Apprentice of the Year Award at the Laundry and Dry Cleaning Awards.

Now in the eighth year, the LADAs have become the pinnacle of celebration for the laundry and drycleaning industry. The Laundry and Drycleaning Awards is the original industry award event that aims to recognise companies, individuals, services and products which stand out from the crowd, those bringing a new level of customer service and professionalism to the industry and helping it face the challenges of changing society and technology head-on. These awards, open to all sectors within the textile care industry; individuals and companies alike.

The event took place on 3rd November at Mercedes-Benz World, Weybridge, and saw over 320 guests gathered together to celebrate the shining stars within the industry.

Harry Coop joined Christeyns back in 2018 on a four-year chemical engineering apprenticeship, studying part time at Bradford University. Harry is now in his final year of university and decided to pursue an apprenticeship rather than a full-time degree option so that he could learn in a more hands-on environment.

Christeyns were also nominated for the Responsible Business Award, Most Innovative Company, and the Green Award, whilst also sponsoring the event.
