Technical Information Briefings Protecting Food From Vulnerability Seminars

Klenzan Ltd, in conjunction with Techni-K, are pleased to announce a series of ½ day seminars running across Britain examining the highly topical subjects of Vulnerability Assessments and the Validation and Verification of Cleaning regimes in the food, drink and dairy industries.

These seminars will bring together industry experts, the latest thinking behind the subjects and technical / hygiene professionals to discuss how to effectively and efficiently implement these control regimes to minimise risks to both the safe production of food and reduce the exposure of your business to costly mistakes.

Following on from the events of 2013’s horse-meat contamination and the recent publication of the Elliot Review the issue of supplier assurance and TACCP (Threat Assessment Critical Control Point) & VACCP (Vulnerability Assessment Critical Control Point) has become increasingly important and major changes being implemented by the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (Issue 7) from July 1st 2015 will require food, dairy and drink producers to take ever greater precautions to ensure that safe, and correct, products are supplied to the end consumer.

Techni-K are a specialist consultancy drawing on the expertise of Kassy Marsh and Ruth Shaw to provide expert advice and guidance on HACCP, allergen management and the implementation of vulnerability assessment (which goes above and beyond simple TACCP which only looks at assessment threats – full VACCP requires a business to actually implement controls). As well as designing training courses on vulnerability assessment they have produced a specialist guide book, templates for businesses and implementable control plans.

Adele Adams (Adele Adams Associates) is a specialist in food safety with experience in FMCG operations, retailer management & auditing and lecturing on food safety at University level, Adele is ideally placed to help delegates understand this potentially complex area.
