Job Title: Business Development Manager
Likes: Spending quality time with my family and first grandchild, playing piano, painting in oils and acrylics, karaoke and sailing.
Dislikes: Arrogant, ignorant, effortless people and Donald Trump.
Background: I have been in the food industry in numerous guises for 31 years including skivvying and slop jockeying in the Royal Navy, production and hygiene management at Bernard Matthews, living the dream on the food safety & retail standards training team and a few years as a Deputy Store Manager at Sainbury’s. I also spent a year managing contract cleaning in food factories and I suppose I should also mention working for Hypred and CCL Pentasol!
My mid-life crisis found me mingling with much younger people at the UEA in Norwich where I talked myself into becoming a ‘mature student’ studying business management & information systems where I managed to complete 2 of the 3 years course before finally realising having a degree was not going to advance my career or job prospects at my age before banking the 240 credits and joining Klenzan the first time around.
I am both honoured and delighted to return to Klenzan ‘healed’ and ‘recharged’ to hit the ground running and will bring an enthusiastic and tenacious approach to my business development role. I am determined and focussed on working with the whole team to achieve the 2021 target.

Job Title: Technical Account Manager

Background: I started working as a hygiene manager in a High-Risk meat processing plant before moving to work as a Technical Sales Consultant for Holchem. I left Holchem after 4 years to work for Wm Morrison as a Technical Operations Manager. After 12 months in this role I moved back into the chemical sales/technical support side of the industry with CCL Pentasol Ltd. I was with CCL for 4 years before being offered the position at Klenzan. I hope to use the industry technical knowledge that I have gained throughout my previous jobs to support my accounts in both technical and sales teams at Klenzan through what is a very exciting time for the company.
