Food safety, everyone’s business

The second World Food Safety Day (WFSD) will be celebrated on 7 June 2020.

Following the success of the first celebration in 2019, Christeyns Food Hygiene supports the World Health Organisation in drawing attention and inspiring action to help prevent, detect and manage foodborne risks, contributing to food security, human health, economic prosperity, agriculture, market access, tourism and sustainable development.

Food Safety – Technical Expertise

At Christeyns Food Hygiene, not only in the UK but throughout Europe and the rest of the world, we have some of the industries “go to” experts on a wide variety of food safety related subject matter.

At our European base in Ghent we have a research and development team, doctors, chemists and microbiologists who are continually looking at new trends and horizon scanning for new solutions. We continuously develop new hygiene products specifically for the food manufacturing sector, such as biofilm detectors and removers, and green & ecological products.

In addition we have a strong team of technical account managers to support our ever-increasing portfolio of hygiene chemical customers.  These in-house experts all come from a food background and their knowledge and advice has helped keep people, and the food we eat, safe in an ever-challenging world for over30 years.

Training, auditing, consulting and guidance are all part of our DNA which ultimately is helping to feed the growing population around the world. We are very proud to share all our combined skills and experience with the food & beverage Industry.  Safety is what we do at every stage of our process.
