Christeyns UK enhances sustainability with solar panel installation

The installation of solar panels to our Rutland Street production building at our Bradford office is now complete, marking a significant move towards renewable energy.

The initial Bradford scheme is the first of 3 envisioned phases and at peak production, will contribute 30% of the daytime demand of our powder production unit and offices.

Annually, we will generate over 50 MWh of electricity and save the equivalent of 10 tonnes of CO2. Furthermore, the power will feed our bank of EV chargers, available to visitors and employees, and so help reduce business travel emissions in a virtuous loop.

This initiative aligns with our company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and reducing our carbon footprint.
