Christeyns launches Bradford Manufacturing Weeks 2022
Apprentices, pupils, manufacturers and dignitaries including Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin, joined Christeyns UK at its Bradford site to launch this year’s Bradford Manufacturing Weeks.
This will be the fourth year Christeyns UK has been involved in the initiative.
Bradford Manufacturing Weeks was founded by former Christeyns UK Managing Director, Nick Garthwaite back in 2017, and has since helped over 15,000 students experience the world of manufacturing. The campaign delivers two weeks of employer-led manufacturing activities to students aged 14-18 from schools and colleges across the Bradford District.
This will be the fourth year that Christeyns UK has been involved in the campaign, getting involved in the Women in Manufacturing Q&A event, “Meet the Manufacturer” and “Meet the Apprentice” panel events, and factory site visits.
Bradford Manufacturing Weeks will run from 3-14 October and will continue to combine online and in person experiences.
Christeyns UK are proud to be part of the initiative again, and we can’t wait for things to kick off later in the year!
