Christeyns UK achieves Armed Forces Covenant Silver Award

We are proud to announce the achievement of the Armed Forces Covenant Silver Award as part of the UK’s Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise that acknowledges and understands that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives.

Backed by the Ministry of Defence, the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), encourages organisations to actively support the armed forces community by signing this agreement. The scheme awards Bronze, Silver and Gold accolades to employers who align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant and champion the welfare, including facilitating employment, for the Armed Forces community.

“Christeyns are absolutely delighted to receive the ERS Silver Award which recognises our unwavering commitment to the Armed Forces, states Justin Kerslake, operations director. “We have, for some years, employed veterans in our team. This cohort have always proven to be reliable, resilient, resourceful and committed members of our team and deliver the customer support excellence we strive for. We are pleased to be able to deliver long term careers for our ex-forces colleagues and thank them for their previous service to the country.”

We takes pride in being a family-owned business that operates with a culture that encompasses all, placing care and support for the employee right at the forefront of our strategy and approach. This environment allows ex-military personnel to forge rewarding careers, developing transferable skills and benefitting from opportunities for progression.
