Christeyns UK invests in Exoskeleton suits helping to reduce strain and improve workplace safety

At Christeyns, we are always looking for ways to improve workplace safety and support the wellbeing of our employees. One of the latest innovations being introduced across our operations is the use of exoskeleton suits, wearable devices designed to support movement and reduce physical strain during manual tasks.

Exoskeleton suits are worn around the body and provide additional support to key areas such as the back, shoulders, and knees. They are designed to help reduce fatigue, particularly during repetitive activities, while also lowering the risk of work-related injuries associated with lifting and handling tasks.

The technology is already making a difference in several areas of the business. We are currently using two exoskeleton suits in one of the areas in our warehouse, where employees regularly handle products as part of the order fulfilment process.

By helping to reduce physical strain and improve comfort during demanding tasks, the suits are contributing to a safer and more sustainable working environment. The introduction of this technology reflects Christeyns’ ongoing commitment to investing in practical solutions that enhance employee wellbeing while supporting operational efficiency.

As we continue to explore new ways to improve workplace ergonomics, innovations such as exoskeleton suits demonstrate how technology can play an important role in creating safer, healthier workplaces for everyone.
