Together for sustainable energy

BELGIUM (HQ) – Together with expert in renewable energy, GreenPulse, Christeyns will install 3.600 solar panels at the roof of its European distribution centre (EDC) in Ghent. Employees of the Ghent site and local residents got the opportunity to cooperate in this sustainable project. The solar panels will generate over more than 1.000.000 kWh green energy per year. This means a reduction of more than 350 tonnes of CO_2.

Through a direct cable, part of the solar panels on the EDC will  provide in 10 to 15% of the electricity consumption of the production on the Afrikalaan.
