Christeyns sponsors rowers on their way to the Olympic Games

BELGIUM (HQ) – In mid-May, Tim Brys & Niels Van Zandweghe were officially presented as candidate participants for the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020. The Belgian rowers in the Lightweight Men’s Double category have important selection races in the coming months. The final goal: to qualify for a place at the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year.

Their first competition was an immediate success. The Belgian duo began the Rowing World Cup on Sunday 12 May with a gold medal. In Plovdiv, Bulgaria, they finished first ahead of Poland and Portugal, which means they are well on their way to an Olympic ticket.

With the sponsoring that Christeyns provides, they can, for example, organize their training abroad, purchase material and finance additional care.
