Technical Sales Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a pro-active and forward-thinking individual to join our Engineering Team at Christeyns Food Hygiene.

This is an office based role to assist with technical support and selling of engineering equipment.

Main Duties

  • Provide technical and service knowledge, as well as the potential benefits a product could have for a customer.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including excellent after-sales communication and care.
  • Organising and setting own schedule to manage requests from customers and technical account managers.
  • Analyse and present sales data to management.
  • Completion of monthly stock inventory controls.
  • Hold knowledge of the latest industry trends, discoveries, and developments.
  • Management of sales contracts for engineering funds and payment terms.
  • Organisation of the packaging and delivery of goods.
  • Communicate with the wider Christeyns community within Europe.
  • Negotiating with equipment suppliers.
  • General office administration.
  • Management of E Commerce platform.
  • Management of Navision ERP System.
  • Reporting to the Engineering Manager.
  • Follow all Christeyns Food Hygiene Procedures.
  • Undertake other duties as required, these may be outside the normal duties undertaken & will be designed to support the smooth operation of the business.
  • To response to specific reasonable requests from the Operations Director.

Essential Criteria

  • Be an excellent team player and able to work under own initiative.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a pro-active attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Hold good IT skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience within the chemical, food or beverage hygiene sector.

Location: Christeyns Food Hygiene, Warrington
