World Food Safety Day

June 7 was officially declared “World Food Safety Day” by the United Nations. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organizations of the United Nations (FAO) want to make consumers globally aware of the importance of food safety.

Christeyns contributes to this safer and healthier world by offering hygiene solutions to food producers and the food industry in general. We do this in line with the standards, codes of practice and guidelines set by the United Nations. In this way not only the production environments, but also the food products themselves become safer and the consumer can rely on a safe diet.

On World Food Safety Day we therefore want to make every player in the food value chain aware of the impact of compliance with hygiene standards and encourage the industry to set up further control systems and cooperations. In this way we can guarantee food safety from the farm to the end consumer.
