Damian Hankin MIFST

Damian Hankin is a BRC approved training partner and a qualified BRC food auditor.  This means he is fully proficient in training on all aspects of version 8 of the BRC Food Safety Audit.  He has over 25 years’ experience within the technical, quality and hygiene areas of the food manufacturing industry, supplying to all the top UK supermarkets; Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Aldi.

 

Michelle Gordon MSc

We are delighted to be working with Michelle Gordon, who has 25 years’ experience of working in the food industry.

Michelle has spent this time as a qualified chef and catering manager in various sections of the hospitality sector.  She has also spent time in quality and technical functions within various categories in food manufacturing.  She is in possession of an MSc in Food Safety Management from the University of Central Lancashire and is also a qualified and experienced trainer.

Additionally, Michelle is a certified Organic Farmers and Growers Auditor and hold the BRC Lead Auditor qualification.

 

Nikos Bakaris – Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health

Nikos is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health. With more than 10 years of experience in the food industry he has conducted worldwide over 200 audits as a lead auditor in a broad range of product categories. As  trainer he has fulfilled over 1500 hours of relevant stakeholders training within the food industry in Africa, Asia and Europe and is a BRCGS Approved Training Partner

 

Silas Agyei Gyamfi – Food Manufacturing Professional

Silas is a highly skilled Food Manufacturing Professional with over 23 years of experience in many areas including research, laboratory operations, manufacturing, quality and technical leadership, across several food categories.

He has a lot of passion for training, coaching and anything else that brings continuous improvement and holds a Masters Degree in Food Science and Safety with particular interest in food microbiology and chemistry. He also has several professional qualification in training, food safety, HACCP, auditing, operational management, brewing science, dairy science, laboratory science etc. 

 

Tina Brown – Director of a Learning and Development organisation

Tina is a dynamic Director of a Learning and Development organisation working at the strategic, operational, and front-line skill level. Tina has worked in the industry covering all business sector roles and maintains her competency within all areas, whilst also delivering Training/Learning and Development since 1991. Tina is an NLP Business Coach, Mentor and Professional Trainer working with Business Owners, from Junior to Senior Management and front line with Customer Service excellence skills. Tina is experienced with methods of work-based learning, blended learning, classroom delivery, 1-2-1 delivery, consultancy, coaching and mentoring for improving business growth, performance, and financial management control.

 

 

Ian Livingstone – Applications Manager and CIP Specialist

Ian been involved for over 40 years in the Brewing, Dairy and Food Processing industries where he has worked in engineering, technical, systems development and commercial roles, all within the hygiene chemical marketplace.

Ian has used his vast knowledge and expertise of CIP applications to design and develop the In-Site system, a PC based application to identify actual CIP operations and an integral analytical tool to aid optimisation of CIP systems and circuits. Once issues have been identified, Ian s able to provide solutions such as revising the program FDS to improve overall cleaning and cost effectiveness.

Ian has compiled a comprehensive list of application requirements and guidelines to promote best practice when using and operating CIP equipment. He has been involved with numerous food retailers and manufacturers regarding CIP Standards and has co-authored several Codes of Practice.  Ian has been instrumental in creating the Christeyns Food Hygiene CIP Training Package which is certified by CPD Certification

 

Lee Bates – CIP Application Specialist

Lee has over 20 years CIP and cleaning & disinfection experience with hygiene chemical companies in engineering, technical and commercial roles.  He has worked across brewery, dairy, soft drinks, food and sewage treatment sectors.  Lee has worked throughout the UK and Ireland as well as over a dozen countries around the world including USA, China & Latin America.  Lee thrives on helping our customers with quality / microbiological issues, additionally saving them £thousands through CIP optimisation.  He is also an outstanding trainer, consistently receiving excellent feedback from his pupils.

 

Gareth McCabe – Dairy Sector Specialist UK & ROI

  • >34 years working within the dairy sector.
  • Dairy production and hygiene management for 18 years and 16 years in account management and technical specialist role for Christeyns food hygiene.
  • Operating in the UK and ROI and support roles with our European colleagues in all dairy related CIP and hygiene and filtration related technical support.
