Digital Performance Marketeer – Portugal based

Christeyns is an international, family-owned group, specialised in applied chemistry for the professional hygiene business.  With our activities, we supply modern, sustainable hygiene chemicals to our clients active in a variety of industries: industrial laundries, food processing companies, medical care facilities,  pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics industry, and many other.

Due to the growing importance of digital marketing for all business units, there is a need for an exciting new role within the Group marketing team:  an experienced Digital Performance Marketeer with a strong analytical mind, who is an expert in HubSpot and loves coordinating and optimising digital projects with the ultimate goal to build the Christeyns brand and increase sales.

Job Description:

Operating mainly from Portugal, you will join Christeyns’ Corporate Marketing team based in Belgium and play a key role in the successful international implementation of HubSpot and in the management of the christeyns.com website.

Your role:
  • Defining, in close cooperation with the Group Marketing team, a coherent strategy for the best way forward in terms of marketing automation and lead generation.
  • Managing the HubSpot implementation process internationally, acting as the group specialist.
  • Setting up, testing and optimising digital campaigns together with the dedicated Business Unit Marketeers, including creation of landing pages, defining digital flows, A/B testing,…
  • Creating the right dashboards needed to manage these activities.
  • Analysing data from different sources (website, e-catalogue, social media, etc.) and with different tools, in order to make recommendations and optimise the results, the conversion and the customer journey.
  • Managing the christeyns.com website project, including the future integration of acquisitions, new language versions etc., in close cooperation with our external web agency.
  • Optimising the website performance through strong understanding of Google Analytics, SEO, SEM.
  • Perform regular SEO audits with the appropriate tools.
  • Acting as the liaison between IT, Data Management and marketing, for converting marketing needs into the necessary technical actions and support/tools.
  • The function requires regular travelling to head office (Belgium).
  • You will report directly to the Corporate Marketing Manager (Belgium) and work in close collaboration with the different Business Unit Marketeers.
 Expected skills:
  • Marketing degree.
  • Experience with digital marketing is a must.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in lead generation, lead conversion and performance measurement.
  • Profound knowledge of HubSpot marketing automation and WordPress is required.
  • Proficiency in English. Additional languages are an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is also an asset.
