Christeyns obtained the EcoVadis silver medal for the year 2021.
We are very proud to announce that the Christeyns group has been rewarded with the EcoVadis silver medal for the year 2021. EcoVadis is an evidence-based online platform that enables companies to evaluate the sustainability performance of themselves and their suppliers.
What is it about?
The Ecovadis evaluation is based on 4 themes :
- Environment
- Labour and human rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable procurement
The points awarded to the participating company are given based on responses of a questionnaire and on documented evidence. These evidence-based assessments result into easy to read scorecards with scores from 0 to 100, and may lead to a medal (bronze, silver, gold, platinum). In addition, the scorecards display the strengths and improvement areas, which the rated companies may use to focus their sustainability efforts and to develop corrective action plans to improve their sustainability performance.
Why do we participate?
Sustainability has always been an important aspect in the way we conduct our business. This award shows that our continuous sustainable way of working is being recognised by the world’s most trusted business sustainability ratings provider.
For our external partners, it allows us to create more transparency and to show how much we value the importance of sustainability at Christeyns. Also in the future we will continue to focus on finding sustainable solutions for us and for our customers.
