Christeyns recognizes the importance of minimal environmental impact. Thus our R&D team is continually searching for “greener” alternatives that also maintain the performance characteristics of its products.

In recent years, Christeyns has ceased the use of phosphates in its European Institutional portfolio and has reduced their use in laundry products significantly.
Due to the imminent reclassification of certain substances as CMR (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, Reprotoxic) Christeyns has ceased the use of Sodium Perborate and is ceasing the use of NTA in all products.
The use of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) is restricted to a minimum.

Christeyns is committed to further improving its environmental performance by developing products that exceed legislative requirements.
Since its successful launch in 2007, the EU-Ecolabel “Green’R” range is being continually expanded to meet the increasing requirements from the market place.
A complete laundry range of “Nordic Swan” labeled products has been launched.
In addition, the “Chriox” product range is extremely environmental friendly. It rapidly decomposes after use and is not hazardous to human health or the environment as it leaves no harmful residue after use.
