Take-over by Christeyns of Senzora Professional (The Netherlands)

The Christeyns group, based in Gent , Belgium , announces its intention to acquire, through its Dutch subsidiary Christeyns B.V., all professional laundry activities of Senzora B.V. on the Dutch and Belgian markets (Senzora Professional). Senzora has decided to withdraw from this market to focus on its Consumer Segments.

After realization of the take-over, planned for 1 March 2007, it will be the priority of Christeyns to ensure continuity of supply of Senzora products and service. Day-to-day follow-up of the customers will be handled by the same account managers servicing the same equipment and chemicals.

By joining forces, Christeyns will be even better placed to help our customers, supplying them state-of-the-art technologies and unrivalled service.

Christeyns is a European company with significant focus on detergents and chemicals in a B-2-B environment. Founded over 60 years ago, t he company has been transformed from a local Belgium business into a modern, professionally managed operation still privately owned by an entrepreneur.

The group is active in 16 European countries, and expects a turnover of 120mio Euro in 2007.

Overname Senzora Professional door Christeyns BV

De groep Christeyns, met hoofdzetel in Gent, België en vestiging in Nieuw-Vennep, Nederland kondigt de intentie aan de wasserijactiviteiten van het Nederlandse Senzora over te nemen. Deze divisie is in de markt gekend als Senzora Professional.

Na de succesvolle overname van deze divisie, gepland op 1 maart 2007, wordt het voor Christeyns eerste prioriteit om de continuïteit van bestaande producten van het Senzora gamma te verzekeren alsook dezelfde technische service aan de klanten te blijven garanderen. De dagelijkse aanspreekpartner voor wastechnische zaken blijft dan ook onveranderd. Door de kennis te bundelen, zal Christeyns nog beter in staat zijn de wasserijmarkt met raad en daad bij te staan met vooruitstrevende technologieën en ongeëvenaarde service.

Christeyns is een internationale zeep- en detergentengroep die actief is in uiteenlopende markten. Ruim 60 jaar geleden als familiebedrijf ontstaan, groeide Christeyns intussen uit tot een internationaal georiënteerde onderneming. De groep is actief in 16 Europese landen, en verwacht in 2007 een omzet te realiseren van ongeveer 120mio €.
