Gent, December 18th, 2009.  Christeyns Italy signed an agreement with the Italian company Sadi Chemical to join forces in the Italian market for the manufacturing and distribution of professional cleaning products. Christeyns Italy has acquired a significant percentage of the shares of the company which will now be called Sadi-Christeyns.

Sadi Chemical, an Italian company founded in 1995 and based in Lurago d’Erba near Como, has a strong reputation for quality products, a high level of customer service and flexible solutions. In 2009 it is placed in the top 10 of Italian companies operating in the professional cleaning market.

Sadi-Christeyns will build further on these foundations, whilst growing its market share through innovative products, systems and solutions and delivering maximum quality and service. This merger along with the synergies with other European Christeyns subsidiaries, will give Sadi-Christeyns an increasing international dimension.

With this operation, Christeyns strengthens its strategy of offering total customer solutions in sectors such as care homes, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, contract cleaners and caterers and dedicated distributors.

Christeyns Italy will raise its profile in the industrial laundry market by the further expansion of its organization, whilst setting the trend for energy and water savings, ecologically-sound products and excellent service with Sadi-Christeyns embracing Christeyns’ principles of customer satisfaction, partnership and integrity in addition to its high quality portfolio.
