Metal soap dispersions
The metal soap dispersions are produced in Ghent on a brand-new, state-of-the-art
production line. The heart of this installation is a high-shear reactor supplemented
by a high-pressure homogeniser. An extensive bulk tank farm allows custom-made production
and storage. This installation is supported by a pilot unit which allows Christeyns
to conduct application-specific research and to develop custom-made dispersions.
The result is an extensive product range with mainly calcium stearate dispersions
for various industries and applications.
Applications:
Active ingredient of coating formulae for the paper production
Active ingredient of building and concrete chemicals
Basic raw material for the rubber production
Release agent for latex gloves
Anti-caking agent for the rubber and polymer production
