Christeyns entered the Belgian laundry market in the 1960s and developed a strong European market position by constant double digit growth. In 2005 Christeyns acquired the Western European commercial laundry business of JohnsonDiversey. This expansion led to a strong position throughout Europe with clear leadership in Belgium, the UK, Ireland, Italy, Finland, The Netherlands, Portugal and Switzerland.
