How does a Belgian family company hold its own among international chemical giants for over half a century? Two competences play a crucial role: creativity and innovation, both driven by passion.

Determined, unremitting endeavour and investment in R&D, coupled with high-calibre employees, are the key elements that have allowed Christeyns to evolve from a local company founded in 1946 to a modern, professionally-managed, European player on the global market.

Through the years, we have strived to give our customers added value. We have succeeded, thanks to our own passion and drive for dealing with every aspect of our customers’ business, ultimately translating this into new, ultra-modern solutions. These are supported by a dedicated service team of unequalled knowledge and experience assuring a service provision that is both flexible and personal in its approach.

During the past 10 years, this vision has resulted in an average growth of at least 20%. In 2010, our consolidated turnover reached EUR 141 million. Although the parent company is in Belgium, 90% of the turnover is realised outside of this country, many of its products being exported around the world. In total, Christeyns employs 500 people in 20 European countries and Morocco.

Over 90,000 tonnes of chemicals are manufactured annually in our own factories in Bradford, Ghent, Lurago d’Erba, Nantes and Odry. These products are exported to customers around the world, making Christeyns a strong, reliable partner.
