The environmentally representative green is as prominent a component of our company
logo and our corporate identity as is the blue representing cleanliness. This was
a deliberate choice by Christeyns and is a permanent reminder that we take our environmental
responsibilities very seriously.
Values such as sustainable development, social development and an effective strategy
for dealing with environmental problems are ingrained in our policy. We want to
contribute to a world which is protected for future generations , but where comfort
and quality have not been compromised.
The best evidence of our environmental credentials is perhaps the fact that our
main production facilities have achieved ISO 14001 accreditation for environmental
management systems. However, we believe that our products should surpass even these
standards and consequently they are often a great deal “greener” than the standards
currently prescribe. In addition, we are helping our customers reduce their ecological
footprint with new truly eco-friendly developments.
We save on packaging waste by using bulk packaging instead of individual packaging
wherever possible. Furthermore, we limit the use of harmful raw materials by investing
in R&D in order to obtain sustainable alternatives.
We see a blue-green world as more than just a trend - it is a way of thinking, working
and developing that ensures a healthier environment is not just an aspiration.
