Christeyns has been active on the institutional market since the fifties. Initially traditional soap based floor cleaners, all purpose cleaners and washing up liquids. These products were manufactured in the Ghent plant and sold as addition to the vast range of textile washing chemicals.

In 2000 Christeyns bought the private owned French company Lufra. Based in Vertou next to Nantes on the French west coast, the plant and offices became the Christeyns France headquarters.

The Christeyns France factory is a specialized manufacturer of a full range of products for the “Away From Home” market.
